The League Championship Playoffs
In the American League Game, Freddy Gonzalez's second place Angels will be the Home Team and wear the gray shirts. They will occupy the third base dugout on Field C. That means the regular season champions, Nick Matta's Rangers, will bat first, wear the blue shirts and use the first base dugout.
For the National League Game on Field B, Marshall Bloom's first place Giants will wear the blue shirts and occupy the first base dugout, while Ted Taylor's second place Cubs will wear the gray shirts and use the third base dugout. The home team for this game will be determined by the commissioner's coin flip.
For the players not involved in these two games, please check in with the commish. Pick-up games will likely be played on Fields D & E.
The games will be followed by an awards presentation and a social
event including Ron Salyer’s Famous Barbecue. Bring the family for the
big day at the ball park! Lawn chairs, sunscreen and beach umbrellas recommended.
