The game between Freddy G and Bob Hite started out close for3 innings with Fred’s team up 12-8. A couple of scoreless innings by Hite’s team allowed Fred’s team to outscore Hite 10-6 for a final score of 22-11. Due to the heat the teams agreed to play 7 innings.
The game on Tuesday between Freddy G and Bobby Z was a one sided at Freddy’s team won easily 24-8. Fred’s team scored every inning but one, I think they were tired! Bob’s team woke up in the 4th inning scoring 5 but Fred’s team continued scoring, including 8 runs in the last inning. They played well.

NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR THE ANGEL TREE PROGRAM
Elmer Black is being held hostage in Canada and will not be here in time this year to put together the Angel Tree Program that provides Christmas gifts for many children at the Lake Elbert Elementary School. Elmer has contacted the school and they are getting the list of children together right now and we should have the list in a couple of weeks. I need a volunteer or several volunteers to coordinate this program. You will need to give out the children's names, collect money from donors, buy and wrap gifts and keep records on what you have done. Elmer is available by phone to help you in any way that he can. If you are interested in volunteering, please see me at the ballpark.
Thanks
Don Witmer
