The Board of Directors is considering a change to the WHSS Constitution that will allow Men to start playing softball in Winter Haven at the age of 53 instead of the current age of 55. There is some discussion to lower the age down to 50 instead of 55. In 2017, the Board of Directors lowered the age for Women from 55 to 50. This change is an effort to help grow the membership in Winter Haven and provide for a broader base for which we can allow people to play in Winter Haven. If you have any thoughts in this matter, please discuss them with me or a board member. Our next Board meeting will be on November 12th and we will consider this change at that board meeting.
