Thanks again for today's managers, Mark Tutrani, Wally, And Steve Hill. They did a tremendous job as always. Also need to point out our men in blue that keep the game moving each day, Loren Fabian and Donnie Witmer.
The game started out with Mark's team putting up five runs. It was feast or famine for Team Tutrani because they either scored five runs or were shut out. The first six hitters accounted for 14 of the 15 runs scored.
Wally's sitting team scored three in the first and followed that up with multiple runs in five of the last six innings.Tuesday's heros continued to excel for Team Wally as KIng Richards bat remained hot and " Windmill Ron" (his new nickname for himself) played excellent defense and hit as well. Team Wally actually led for six of the seven innings. At the end of six innings they held a three run lead.
Team Hill matched Team Tutrani with five in the first, as scoring five in the first has become commonplace for a Steve Hill managed team. It is too bad that there are not seven first innings in a game.. With run production down, they still managed to find themselves in second place going into the seventh inning..
With the score Team Wally 18, Team Tutrani 15, and Team Hill 15, it was still anyone's game. Team Tutrani hit first but did not manage to push a run across the plate, finishing with the 15 runs they started with. Team Wally on the other hand managed to add five runs to their total of 18 to end up with 23. I guess Steve thought it was the first inning again, as his first six batters reached base, scoring 4 runs in the process. bringing their total to 16, where it stayed as Team Wally defense finally woke up and shut them down.
