Today was our first day at our new temporary home. Hopefully, no one had difficulty finding it. I will say that the field crew did an excellent job in prepping the fields. I felt like we were in the big leagues.
We managed to field three teams. Today's managers were Don Ouding, Dave Rounds, and Fred Deloach. Thanks guys.
The game saw a number of fluctuations.In scoring, each team scored four or more runs in multiple innings to keep it close. Team Deloach trailed until the fourth inning but then, never looked back. The real battle was for the silver medal, Team Ouding and Team Rounds ended up in a tie for second. The differfence in the game was the number of long balls hit by Team Deloach.Today's superstar was Herbie, who went three for three with three triples. That's right... three triples. Final score: Team DeLoach 18, Team Ouding 13, and Team Rounds 13.
