This day was what Florida in the winter is all about. 70 degrees, very slight breeze, freshly mown grass, guys it doesn't get any better.
Field E today had Ron Butler managing Oesterreich, Benson, Andrews, Remington, Hite, Borrelli, Waddell, Matta, Fabian and Lopiccollo against Steve Hill supervising Coffman, Vanderberg, Schapler, Levesque, Mohan, Kallister, Haubaker, McClellan, Ridley and Wheeler.
Once again defense ruled the day with both teams stringing zero run innings together. The Visitors (Butler) had 4 zero run frames while the Home team (Hill) posted 6 blanks. In the end it turned out to be a 22 to 9 rout by the Visitors as they posted a couple of 5 run innings and a 7 run 9th inning. The best the home team could mount was a 5 run 9th inning. Just too little too late.
