It was a full‑on slugfest today — and at times a little defense‑optional game. Three teams battled it out:

Team Wally (Hitting / Visiting) – 21
Team Ayers (Sitting / Middle) – 17
Team Hill (Fielding / Home) – 18

Going into the sixth inning, the scoreboard looked like a traffic jam: 18 – 17 – 18. Every team was still in it.

 Team Ayers

Team Ayers came out consistent and steady, scoring up and down the lineup through the first five innings. But the bats cooled late — only 1 run in the final frames.

Standout:

Griffin: a perfect 4‑for‑4, scoring 4 runs and keeping Ayers in the fight.
Pablo, JR, DeLong, and BJ went 3-for-4.

 Team Hill

Team Hill also lost momentum in the last two innings and couldn’t hold off Team Wally’s late push. They allowed 3 runs in the 7th, which sealed the deal.

Hudson, Carlos, Bales: each 3‑for‑4

 Team Wally

Team Wally came out hot, dropping 15 runs in the first three innings. They took a breather in the 5th and 6th, then punched back with 3 clutch runs in the 7th to grab the win.

Dear Members,

 

Please be advised that Friday, July 31, will be our final day at the Auburndale Sports Complex.

 

We extend our sincere gratitude to the City of Auburndale for generously allowing our club to use their fields over the years. Their support has been greatly appreciated.

 

We will relocate our operations to Lake Maude, the field located across from Diamond Plex.

 

Check-in time: 8:30 a.m.; games will start at 9 a.m.

 

Our permanent fields are currently under renovation and are expected to be ready in mid-August. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition and look forward to welcoming everyone to our home field.

🥎 07.21.2026 Team Hill Turns Up The Heat

 What a day on the dirt in Winter Haven — three teams, big bats, and another slugfest from first pitch to last out. Team Hill (Visitors/Hitting) came out firing and never took their foot off the gas, stacking up 24 runs. Team Ayers (Middle/Sitting) kept swinging and finished with 17, while Team Turchetta (Home/Field) battled hard and put up 13.

All three teams opened the game with five runs each, setting the tone for a high‑scoring afternoon.

Team Hill was relentless, scoring in every inning and getting production from top to bottom. Ernesto, switching over to bat left‑handed, drove in multiple runs and crossed the plate four times himself. Escobar added a triple and scored three times, keeping the pressure on all game long.

Team Turchetta made their push in the 4th, stringing together six runs to tighten things up. Rad chipped in with a triple and a double, giving the home squad some spark.

Team Ayers wasn’t done either — they rallied in the final inning for four runs, trying to close the gap. Fee crossed the plate three times and launched a ball so deep the splash in the pond looked like a mini‑tsunami. DeLoach had a perfect day at the plate, scoring four times, and Col Z added three more.

Another fun, competitive day of Winter Haven softball — big hits, big laughs, and plenty of dirt flying.

And... if any names are spelled incorrectly, don’t blame the girl — blame the score sheets. Some of that handwriting looks like decoding hieroglyphics. If you spot something off, just check your sheet — sometimes the penmanship can get creative.
