Joe Peski, Joe is from the State of Wisconsin and lives in Haines City with his wife Janice.  They have 5 children and 16 Grandchildren.

Joe played in the National League on the Duke's.  Football and Baseball are his favorite sports.  Brett Farve is his favorite Pro Player.  Joe's hobbies are Softball, Pickleball, and Horseshoes.  In his spare time he watches Fox News, and does Honey-due lists.  Joe is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and is retired and Winters in Florida.

Congratulations to the Duke's managed by Steve Hill for being League Champions for the 2022 season. The players were: Greg Denny, Steve Hill, Frank Jacobs, Don Lamay, Larry Larsen, Ray Levesque, Ken Meyer, Herbie Oesterreich, Joe Peski, Steve Pinnick, Hal Ridley, Brad Swenson, Charlie Sykes and George Vanderhyde. Championship patches will be given to the manager tomorrow to give to his players. Good Job everyone.

Tomorrow begins the pickup games for the rest of the year.  We will be back at the pavillion between Fields A & B. Everyone will need to sign in no later than 9:00 AM. Games will begin as soon as the teams are made. 

The Board planned on having a year-end party last Friday but the rain prevented us from doing so. The plan now is to have the party this Friday, April 8th. There will be a sign up list at the table in the morning. If you plan on being here for the party, please sign up so we know how many people to plan for. The menu is going to be Sandwiches, Chips, Cookies and Drinks.

No elections were held this year because the incumbents were not challenged. The Board welcomes back Bob Hite and Chris Constantine to the Board of Directors. Commissioner Witmer was unopposed again so he will serve another two year term.

Donald LaMay, known by most Don.  Don is from the State of Michigan, he and wife Alice (High School Classmate) live in Dundee Fl.  Our combined families are 8 Children (4 D - 4 A) Grandchildren (5 D - 6A) and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

Don played in the National League for the Duke's.  Two of Don's accomplishments in this League were being elected to the Polk County Senior Softball Hall of Fame in 2020, and playing Senior Softball in this League and on same team with his 2 sons Dan 66 and Steve 56 in 2021.  

Don's favorite sports are Baseball, Softball, Golf and Hockey.  His favorite Pro Sport players are Joe Louis (Heavyweight Champ) Norm Cash and Mark Fidrych.  Don's hobby is Antique Furniture Restoration. His  is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy (1952-56).  Don retired as an International Harvester (NavaStar) Salesman.

Lorren Fabian, his home State is Minnesota and he lives in Winter Haven with Joyce.  Loren has a son and his wife and 2 GrandChildren.  

Loren played and Managed in the National League for the Flyers.  Loren like most sports, and his favorite Pro Player is John Elway.  Loren's hobby is WHSS.  Making quilts for Quilts of Valor for all Veterans. Loren is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.  His occupation was a Flooring Sales and Installation.  Loren is a board member of the Winter Haven Senior Softball.

Wayne Shearer with a nick name of Whitey.  Wayne's home State is Florida and he lives with his Wife Anita in Bartow.  They have a Granddaughter Kaeli

Whitey Played in the National League with the Nationals.  Softball, Fishing and Hunting are his favorite sports.  Peyton Manning is his favorite Pro Player.  He hobby playing Softball and he like relaxing in his spare time.

Ken Gelinas, nickname is Gelly.  Ken is from Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  He and his wife Patti live in Auburndale.  Ken has 1 daughter and 3 sons that live in Windsor - Patti has 1 daughter live in California and a son who is in the Air Force stationed in Japan.

Ken plays in the National League for the Yankees.  His favorite sport is Hockey and his favorite Pro player is Steve Yzerman.  Gelly likes to play Golf and Softball.  He also likes spending time with his wife around the Pool.  Ken is retired from Chrysler FCA Canada.
