What a day for Senior Softball at the Diamondplex. There were 4 teams of eleven with Team Gonzalez vs Team Tutrani on field B and Team Wally vs Team Hill on field C.Between the two teams, there was a total of 110 runs scored. Team Hill came out on top of Team Wally 30-29. On Field B Team Gonzalez bested Team Tutrani 26-24 with Ron Thompson again picking up the win. They also trailed the entire game until bottom of the open inning, scoring 2 runs for the win.

There was a fair amount of errors in these 2 run filled games and the Field C game only went 7 innings, but it was a very fun morning for Senior Softball.

It was a beautiful day for a Senior ball game. The managers were B.J., Wally and Spitilari. The first 3 innings were very close with a score of 5-7-6 in favor of team Spitilari. That team poured on the coal the next 4 innings, scoring 4, 5, 5, and 2 runs respectively. Exciting American League Travel Team Update!
On May 1st, 2025, the American League travel team headed to Solivita for an action-packed 2-game showdown. The sun was shining in Central Florida, creating the perfect backdrop for some thrilling softball.
In game one, our team came out swinging with a five-run first inning and stellar defense that kept Solivita scoreless for four of the first five innings. Thanks to the incredible hitting of Don Fee, Manny Rios, and Mike Vaccaro, we smacked 6 home runs. Despite Solivita's late-game rally, we emerged victorious with a final score of WHSS 21, Solivita 15.
Game two was a nail-biter from start to finish. We held the lead until the fifth inning when Solivita took the edge with a score of 13-12. As we entered the top of the seventh, Solivita was ahead 19-15. With one final chance to turn the game around, we fought hard and managed to score 3 runs. However, it wasn't enough, and we fell short with a final score of 19-18. Despite the loss, everyone had a blast, and we can't wait to face off against Solivita again next month for another thrilling matchup.
Notable highlights from the games include Don Fee's impressive 4 home runs, Manny Rios' 2 home runs, Mike Vaccaro's 2 home runs, and Dana Ferrande's perfect 8/8 at-bat performance.
