On Thursday, February 13, 2025, the American League travel team embarked on an epic journey to Solivita for a thrilling two-game showdown. The first game started off as a snooze-fest, with us trailing 6-1 by the end of the third inning. But fear not, for we rose from the ashes like a phoenix, scoring five runs and tying the game 6-6. With grit and determination, we clawed our way to victory, ultimately triumphing 17-13.
Game two was a rollercoaster of emotions. Tied 6-6 in the second inning, we battled back and forth in a nail-biting showdown. After a fierce competition, we emerged victorious with a close 18-19 win. Laughter, camaraderie, and a few heart palpitations were had by all, and we eagerly anticipate our next match this Monday at 3 pm.
