Field D. Mostly National League players Strait's Tigers vs Fabe's Flyers. Must be playing Senior softball in sunny central Florida as after 7 innings it became a "FLIP FLOP" game with the Flyers up 19-5 so flip flop and the Tigers got another goose egg in the 8th but all hell broke out in the 9th as they sent 13 hitters to the plate after a potential game ending DP up the middle failed to materialize and the flood gates opened for 9 runs for a final of 19-14. What a come back and all hits after the error around second base. Again, almost everything on the score sheets said HIT but I know there were many errors and FC's. We must do a better job of keeping the books when league starts so we can do fairly accurate write ups. One thing I know for sure is Larry Grabb had the catch of the game in CF heading for the fence, reached up over his left shoulder and the ball settled with a thump in the web of his glove. Great catch.
